Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard will take on a new role as the batting coach for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming 16th edition of the IPL. He has already arrived in India to join the team for the pre-season camp. The franchise welcomed him back with a special Instagram video titled “the big man returns,” where the younger players of the team spoke about the legendary all-rounder. Pollard was also seen in a jovial mood, and he introduced himself to the squad by saying, “Don’t refer to me as a coach. Just call me Polly.”

Kieron Pollard expressed his enthusiasm for his new role as Mumbai Indians’ batting coach while speaking from the training ground’s sidelines. He talked about his connection with the “Mumbai Indians family” and reminisced about his playing days.

“The people of Mumbai have done a lot for me as an individual. I guess I have done something for them from a player’s perspective as well. The bond that we have is more than just cricket matches.”
