India humiliated New Zealand in the second ODI at Raipur. New Zealand were rolled out for mere 108 runs. India made a mockery of the target chasing it in 20.1 overs with 8 wickets in hand.
With the defeat in the second ODI, New Zealand are dethroned from the number one rank in the ICC ODI rankings. They slip to number 2 as they are tied with England with 113 points. India is at the third position with the same points. As there is a tie between the teams at 113 points, India will be the new number 1 team if they are able to win the 3rd ODI.

India have the opportunity to stay at the top of the rankings in all 3 formats. They are already the number one side in the T20 Internationals. India will look to close the ODI series against New Zealand on a high and build momentum in the World Cup year. The third ODI will be played at Indore on 24th January, Tuesday at 1:30 PM IST.
