PM Modi offers condolences to Umesh Yadav After his father’s Demise

The demise of Tilak Yadav, father of Indian cricketer Umesh Yadav, at the age of 74 in Nagpur after a prolonged illness on February 22 has caused immense grief. PM Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the bereaved family by sending a letter.

In his letter, the PM praised the pivotal role played by Tilak Yadav in shaping Umesh’s career. Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the dedication and sacrifices made by Umesh’s father. Furthermore, he conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the family and offered his support during this difficult time.

In response, Umesh thanked PM Modi in his tweet.

Umesh Yadav’s father had been receiving medical attention at a private hospital in Nagpur for several weeks. Tilak Yadav, a retired worker from Valni Coal Mine, had three sons and a daughter who survived him. Also, the BCCI also offered its condolences to Umesh Yadav and his family.

On March 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will attend the first day’s play of the fourth Test match between India and Australia at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

According to sources, this will be Prime Minister Modi’s first visit to the stadium named after him to watch a match.

The state government is taking significant security measures to host the two prime ministers at the world’s largest cricket stadium. However, there is no official news yet.

The fourth Test match of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy is set to take place in Ahmedabad from March 9-13 and this aligns with Prime Minister Albanese’s first trip to India since being appointed in May of the previous year.
