In the 50th match of the IPL 2023, the Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore faced each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 6. Bangalore posted a target of 181 runs in the first innings, but the team eventually lost due to Phil Salt’s outstanding performance. During the game, an altercation between Mohammed Siraj and Salt caught the attention of spectators. Shikha Pandey, the Indian women’s all-rounder, expressed her opinion on the matter by tweeting that using abusive language won’t help win games.

However, Pandey faced criticism from some Twitter users who abused her for her opinion. In response, Pandey tweeted that she admires Mohammed Siraj’s bowling, and his achievements in his career are remarkable, inspiring, and unmatched. Pandey’s response served as a befitting reply to the trolls who targeted her.

“So folks trying really hard to make it appear as if I implied something else please take your conversations elsewhere. Also, if you think hurling abuse on my TL or some one else’s helps you get your point across pls continue to do so. I can speak for myself, it does NOT,”

Shikha said.

Phil Salt’s brilliance propelled DC to emphatic win against RCB

Bangalore put up a score of 181 runs in the first innings, thanks to the contributions of Kohli, du Plessis, and Lomror. Kohli scored 55 runs off 46 deliveries, while du Plessis added 45 runs off 32 balls, and Lomror’s unbeaten knock of 54 runs in just 29 balls was crucial. However, Warner’s poor form continued as he scored only 22 runs in 14 balls. Phil Salt’s brilliant knock of 87 runs off 45 deliveries propelled Delhi to victory. Salt’s innings helped Delhi secure their fourth win of the season and kept their playoff qualification hopes alive.
