Suryakumar Yadav, the flamboyant Indian batsman who currently holds the top spot in the T20I rankings, proudly displays multiple tattoos on his body. These tattoos bear significant meaning for him. Among them are the names of his mother, father, wife, and his national cap numbers in Test, ODI, and T20I formats.

In a recent revelation, Yadav disclosed that he inked his parents’ names first to seek their permission for his other planned tattoos. Furthermore, he shared that his wife insisted on an evil eye tattoo to ward off negative energy, while shedding light on the lion tattoo adorning his hand. Yadav’s body art tells captivating stories behind each inked symbol.

“I have a tattoo of my mom and dad’s names. This was my first tattoo, so I could get permission for the rest. My wife told me to get this tattoo (evil eye) because she feels mujhko nazar jaldi lagta hai,”

“I have a portrait of my mom and dad on my shoulder, it is 4-5 years old. It is my favourite. This is a calm lion. I am also a calm lion (referring to the tattoo on his arm),”

Yadav further added.

Suryakumar Yadav, the prominent top-order batsman, proudly displays a distinctive tattoo of arrows on his upper arm. According to him, this symbolizes how life pulls one back only to propel them forward, exemplified by his three ducks against Australia. Additionally, he possesses a remarkable tattoo on the same arm that represents the Maori tribe of New Zealand, known to bring luck and maintain his tranquility. Yadav’s body art narrates captivating tales of resilience and serenity.

“When I was on tour to NZ, I got aware of this design of the Maori tribe. I met a person who told me that this design brings one luck and love and keeps you calm,”
