Tayla Vlaeminck’s injury, disappoints  Shawn

“We’re disappointed for Tayla, she has shown incredible resilience and perseverance throughout injury setbacks over the past few years. And worked hard to earn her spot on the Australia A tour,”. Flegler was saying by ESPNcricinfo.

Cricket Australia’s head of performance for women’s cricket, Shawn Flegler further said that

“We will continue to work collaboratively with Cricket Victoria’s high-performance staff to support Tayla over the course of her rehabilitation,”. Shawn added.

The Women’s Big Bash season is set to begin in a few months. However, due to the shoulder surgery, the Aussie pacer won’t be available for the season. She got this shoulder injury during the Australia A match in July. The fast bowler is set to miss one more season for Melbourne Renegades. Furthermore, she has missed a lot of important matches in her career. The tournaments are the 2020 T20 World Cup, the 2022 ODI World Cup, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and last season’s WBBL. She was not available for the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa. Hopefully, she returns back to field soon.
