Shakib Al Hasan in controversy: lost his temper beating the fans

Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan lost his temper again. He went to a function and raised his hand on a fan. Shakib went to the event after playing the first T20 match against England. The Bangladeshi all-rounder lost his temper when the fans surrounded him there.

Three hours after defeating England, Shakib went to a product launch event. Chaos however ensued after he reached there. Many people surrounded Shakib. They started asking for signatures. Many people moreover tried to touch the captain of Bangladesh. The tyranny of the fans almost trapped the irritated Shakib. Security personnel however surrounded him, but the scuffle started at some point, he lost his temper. An enraged Shakib however took off his cap and hit a fan several times. There are already questions about Shakib’s participation in various promotional events in the middle of the international series. This is the debate over that.

Shakib Al Hasan and Controversies are not new

But this is not the first time, Shakib has repeatedly been involved in controversies in his cricket career. He had an argument with the leg umpire for not giving a ball wide in the last Bangladesh Premier League. In Bangladesh Premier League in 2021, Shakib was angry with the umpire’s decision and kicked the stumps. Earlier in 2019, the captain of Bangladesh’s Test and T20 team had to be deported after not receiving an offer from the gamblers.

Shakib recently touched a new milestone in the one-day series against England. He became the third cricketer in the world to complete 6000 runs and 300 wickets in one-day international cricket. So far this achievement was held only by Sanath Jayasuriya and Shahid Afridi. Bangladesh defeated the world champions England in the first T20 match under the leadership of Shakib. He is also in a good mood. However, he involved himself into the controversy as he beat up a fan at a campaign event.

Bangladesh-England second T20 match on Sunday. If they win this match, Bangladesh will take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
