Bangladesh has just beaten England in the T20 series on the country’s soil. After that, Shakib Al Hasan went to Dubai. Bangladeshi website “Dhaka Tribune” reported that Shakib Al Hasan went there to inaugurate the gold shop of a murder accused named Arav Khan. Shakib al Hasan inaugarated he shop on Wednesday. After going to the shop with Arav, Shakib Al Hasan did not stay there for long after the inauguration. He returned within 10 minutes.
Who is this Arav Khan? There are several allegations against businessman Arav Khan alias Rabiul Islam alias Sohag Mollah. One of them have charges of killing police officer Mamun Imran Khan. Mamun was murdered in a flat in Dhaka on July 7, 2018. The police submitted a charge sheet against 9 people including Rabiul for murdering him.
Shakib Al Hasan went to Dubai to inaugurate a store of that Arav
But Rabiul escaped to India before the police could catch him. He came to India and changed his name to Arav Khan. Arav fled to Dubai with an Indian passport. Arav has been there ever since. On October 31, 2021, Dubai Government granted resident permit to Arav.
Since then, Arav Khan lives in Dubai. He did jewelry business there. Shakib Al Hasan went to Dubai to inaugurate a store of that Arav. Arav himself was promoting Shakib’s departure on social media. However, the Bangladesh captain is yet to open up about why he invited a murder accused.
Well, Shakib Al Hasan is prone to get into controversies. Within a week, news came when he lost his cool on his fans. They asked the Bangladesh for autographs, and somehow he took one them and beat harshly. Bangladesh skipper engaging himself into controversies is nothing new, unless its the story he got involved into.
